Yuriki - "Brave Power"

I've always had this frustration at how Filipinos receive names that are so western. People, correct me if I'm wrong. It seems that our names mean nothing. But hey, is that even possible? So in my search for my identity, I searched for the answer in the web. I chanced upon behindthename.com. And guess what, I got this:

Ganda noh?

Sa sobrang excitement ko, ngahanap naman ako ng Japanese translation nito. And all I had to look for was the appropriate Kanji. I also asked for help at jdorama.com. And this is what they came up for me:

 (9) ユウ;いさ(ましい・む) 甬 is as per (pierce) + a variant of person → person stamping the ground vigorously, as though to run through it (compare and ) → burst through → narrow road, walled on either side. 勇 combines an abbreviated form of 甬 (phon) + power/energy → agitated movement with the feet → spiritedness; liveliness → bravery; courage.

and (2) リョク;リキ;ちから S/B S/B is a pictograph of rippling arm muscles → power; energy → strength; skill; ability; labor; make efforts.

Ergo, I'm Yuriki.

I like it!
What about you, what's your name in japanese?
